-About me-

Hi there I am Sam, I may not like green eggs and ham but I do like programming! I am a very passionate person that loves to expand my knowledge in any way I can. I first discovered programming in college programming simple text based programs and have since moved on to undertake a degree in games programming to combine my two favourite talents and hobbies. I strive to learn something new with everything I try my hand at and hope to explore a wide range of opportunities that my computing knowledge opens up.

On this website you'll see examples of my previous personal works (and group work where indicated) which will hopefully show my love for the creative, innovative, and interesting things that I like to make.

Software

-What I Have Worked With-

Since 2011, I’ve built up a large repertoire of skills in various pieces of software relating to programming and game design. I have gained and applied these skills whilst developing a wide variety of projects from simple or complex complete games to explorations of specific aspects used within games and other applications of programming such as databases and complex mathematics. Check out some of the software below but even though one day I will stop being a student, I will never stop learning so I always welcome the challenge of adapting myself to different situations and new tools.

Student

October 2013 - July 2016(?)

Attending Bournemouth University for 3 years (with one year between 2015-2016 to work on my own projects) I have gained experience in a wide variety of different aspects of game design, development, and implementation. While I had some fun interacting with the more artistic side of things like modelling and level design I specialised in programming when the course split for the second and third year because of my love for coding that I've had ever since I discovered it in A-level computing a few years earlier.

Useful links

This badge will generate links to my fellow peers from Bournemouth University who studied with me on the creative tech course. Some are also programmers but there are also people who specialise in the more creative level design, modelling, and animation side and even some people from the music tech side of the course too.

So if I don't have the particular skills you are looking for then maybe some of these guys do!
